Coffee with God by Kal Wagenheim

5 speaking roles

God (femme, 30s) is warm, friendly, self deprecating, honest and also… lonely.

Kal (masc, 30-50) seems happy enough, but is living with a grief he’s not aware is keeping him down.

Ellie (femme, 30-40) is a waitress who moonlights as a midwife. She is bold, genuine, sometimes crass, honest to a fault and exquisitely sensitive. She will explore the themes of both plays in monologues.

Harold (masc, 50-60), Kal’s father, is broken down, apologetic, and resigned to his lot in life.

Rozlon (femme, 20-30), Kal’s mother, is loving, kind, bright, full of energy, and died tragically young.

Prepare monologues, light and thoughtful. Sides will also be provided beforehand.

Deliver Us Not! (or Birth, Where Is Thy Sting?) by Lee Howard and Greg Gamble

3 speaking roles, 2 of whom dance the Tango in Coffee with God, are adults playing full-term fetuses. Comedic timing is a must!

Masc (50-60) and femme (20-40) with dance experience (Tango)

Any gender (30-85)

Prepare comedic monologues for these three, plus sides which will be provided beforehand.
